I bought this product to climb up some trees in my backyard to trim some limbs that were too high to get with a ladder. A tree trimming service quoted me 0 to trim the trees. I got this climbing stick, put it together, fastened it to the tree and had two limbs cut in less than an hour. Once fastened to the tree, this thing is solid. Only reason for not a 5 star is because of the straps that are supposed to secure the ladder to the tree aren't good enough.

I use these climbing sticks for all my tree stand locations. Fits tight to the tree, easy to climb and above all the price is outstanding. You won't find a better climbing stick for this cheap of a price.
